ABOUT

Alexandra received her BSc. from the University of Bath in 1999, where she
graduated with an Honours degree in Biology. After completing her Masters (MSc)
in International Management from King’s College, University of London, in 2000, she
joined Wall Street investment bank Morgan Stanley. She worked primarily in private
wealth management as an Analyst covering southern European clients. In 2004
she decided to move to the wealth management division of Barclays Private bank,
located in Mayfair, London. During the following four years, Alexandra was trained,
in order to specialise in investment advice and succession planning for UK resident,
non-domiciled clients.
In July 2008, just before the financial crisis erupted, she relocated to Dubai, and held
the position of Director in the Swiss private bank Sarasin-Alpen for five years. Since
2012, Alexandra has been a senior Private banker in Union Bancaire Privée (UBP),
one of the leading private banks globally with headquarters in Geneva. She is fluent
in Greek and Italian.
Alexandra is a strong advocate of cultural and gender diversity in the workplace and
has been involved in several initiatives and mentoring programs, in order to promote
and support female executives.
In her free time, she is an avid painter and also enjoys practicing yoga as well as
spending time with her family. She consciously engages in activities that sharpen
the right hemisphere of the brain; particularly essential when working for an industry
not renowned for its creativity. She believes it is paramount to strive for a personality
that is fully-developed in all aspects.
